Ottawa Capital Illumination Plan
2017
The Capital Illumination Plan sets a bold vision for Canada’s Capital after dark; celebrating its architecture, landscapes, and democratic values through thoughtful lighting design. Led by Chris Hoyt at the NCC with designers Alain Guilhot and Lumipraxis, the plan received the Canadian Institute of Planners’ 2018 award for Planning Excellence.

This project was to be a vibrant new residential, hotel, and shopping district for Fairfax County, Virginia. Project Team: Shalom Baranes Associates: Mark Gilliand, Principal in Charge; Christopher Hoyt, Senior Designer. Client: DSF Group, Needham, MA.
