Selected Work
CH Architect’s work spans institutional, infrastructure, and residential contexts.

01
LeBreton Flats Redevelopment - Ottawa
A major mixed-use redevelopment of Ottawa's LeBreton Flats - one of the most significant urban redevelopment opportunities in the National Capital Region - intended to establish a new national destination comprising housing, public space, cultural uses, and a new NHL arena.
The original procurement, which CH Architect supported, was cancelled following ownership issues with the Ottawa Senators; the project has since been retooled and relaunched and continues under a revised framework.
Role: Senior Architect and Selection Committee Member (4 years), NCC. Led development of the RFP and procurement process design while providing strategic architectural advisory to NCC Board and senior leadership through project initiation, bid evaluation, and proponent engagement. Work at this scale - coordinating technical judgment with governance, political, and stakeholder complexity - is central to what CH Architect brings to owner-side advisory mandates today.

03
Ottawa Art Gallery
Role: Senior Designer (Concept Stage) - KPMB Architects
The Ottawa Art Gallery redevelopment required integrating a new contemporary gallery building with the heritage Arts Court structure in a downtown context with strong civic expectations and complex ownership. At concept stage, the challenge was translating a multi-stakeholder brief into a spatially coherent and technically feasible option set - leading feasibility studies, functional programming, and early stakeholder coordination across disciplines to create a durable foundation for subsequent design phases.
04
Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital - Toronto
Role: Project Architect - Diamond Schmitt Architects / Stantec / HDR Architecture
Bridgepoint represents a healthcare environment of unusual complexity: a purpose-built rehabilitation hospital integrated with the adaptive reuse of the historic Don Jail, on a constrained urban site, with high public visibility and significant heritage obligations. As Project Architect, the focus was on coordinating building envelope and public space design across a large, multi-disciplinary team - ensuring that the architectural ambition of the project was carried through at the technical and stakeholder interface, not just at the concept stage.

05
Bay Adelaide Centre East Tower
Role: Project Architect - KPMB Architects / Adamson Associates
Supported design development and coordination for the tower and podium, collaborating closely with design leadership and consultant teams to refine architectural expression and technical delivery.
A 1.22 million ft² LEED Platinum office tower and podium forming a key phase of the Bay Adelaide Centre in Toronto’s Financial District.
