City of Ottawa Urban Design Guidelines for High-Rise Buildings
Federal Representative (NCC) to the City of Ottawa's interdepartmental working group for the development of the Urban Design Guidelines for High-Rise Buildings (City of Ottawa, 2018).
The guidelines establish a comprehensive framework for integrating tall buildings into existing communities, with a focus on pedestrian-scale design, built-form compatibility, site organization, and sustainable intensification at transit-oriented nodes and corridors.

Contributed over four years to one of the most complex urban redevelopment procurements in the National Capital Region's recent history - a major mixed-use redevelopment comprising housing, public space, cultural uses, and a new NHL arena. Evaluated proponent submissions across architecture, urban design, and sustainability; advised NCC Board and senior leadership through RFP development and bid evaluation. The original procurement was cancelled following ownership issues with the Ottawa Senators; the project has since been retooled and relaunched. 2015.
