  • Panelist, Summer Cities Symposium: Working Waterfronts Freshwater Fictions, Carleton University, 2018.

  • Presenter, Urban Design and architecture issues at various Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and Canadian Institute of Planners conferences.

  • Juror, various academic design studio juries at Carleton University Azraeli School of Architecture and Urbanism, Andrews University and Corcoran College of Art and Design.

  • Editor, www.see-change.net a blog about cities and the built environment. Active from 2010-2018 it had 12,000 views.

  • Author, “Architect as Agent of Change: Responding to the Challenge” - article published in the Ontario Association of Architects annual member directory, 2015

  • Selection Committee: LeBreton Flats. Evaluated proponent’s submissions including urban design, architecture, sustainability, and other issues. Created a short list of consortia that advanced to the second stage of competition, 2015.

  • Chair NCC Internal Design Review Committee (IDRC):2015. Committee is made up of internal professionals. Evaluated internal and external proponents’ projects.

  • Co-author: article published in online journal iPolitics.ca; “seeCHANGE: Building a ‘Green Canada’ brand” 2011
